Title bar disappeared on Xgl after updating some packages

Hello,

I had installed Xgl following this instructions and everything was working fine. Yesterday, following a suggestion of a friend to get Mathematica to work, I updated the following packages via YUM:

metacity nautilus gnome-applets gnome-panel gnome-panel-devel gnome-desktop gnome-desktop-devel gnome-utils libgnome libgnomeui

And now, the windows have no title bar on GNOME. Switching apps with Alt+Tab doesn't work either.
This problem doesn't happen on KDE, on XFce, or on GNOME without Xgl (tested using gnome-xgl-switch --disable-xgl). BUT it does happen on GNOME under Xgl.

Any ideas to make it work?

Reinstalling metacity is the likely culprit. Metacity is the default window manager for Xorg, just as compiz is the default for XGL. Try disabling, then re-enabling XGL. This should setup compiz to run at login again.

Based on the instructions you used to install XGL, these commands should reset your XGL.

gnome-xgl-switch --disable-xgl
gnome-xgl-switch --enable-xgl --auto

Didn't work. I still don't have the title bars.
