Mod4 / Super_L key combinations not recognised in some cases

    Hello,

I've mapped Mod4 to the left Win key, using the keyboard configuration utility, and assigned some keyboard shortcuts with it, so that now Win+T opens a terminal, Win+F# switches between desktops, and so on. And they are working fine.
However, I assigned Win+L (that is, <Mod4>l) to lock the screen, but it doesn't work. Any other shortcut that does not include the Win key works in that position, but this particular one doesn't.
Why does that happen, and what can I do to solve it?

    Thanks in advance,

    -Fibo

I am trying to get this same thing working. I've tried setting the win-keys to meta and hyper in the "system-> preferences->keyboard: Layout Options tab'. With either of these options, the win keys will read <mod4> in the keyboard shortcuts window. It doesn't matter what the win-keys are set to, they do not work as modifier keys. I'm running FC5. Anyone have ideas?

    Thanks,
    Ryan
