Quick Filesystem/harddrives Partion question

Ok Fellas. I have been sleeping on this.

When I installed Fedora, I let it auto partition my 2 harddrives. Because of LVM, it only made one Volume Group and one LV. All the space is set to the root of the filesytem.

My concerns are i have a 30 gig drive, which i intended for the OS ect.., and then a 120 gig drive i intended for personal use.

Now I maybe answering my own question, but i dont have a lot of experiencing recovering data on linux.

Since I recently installed and havent spent a lot of time customizing, would i be better just to format my drives and re-install and partion this myself or is it not really that big a deal.

And also if you saw re-install, any thoughts on how i should format it. /home, /tmp, /....how much space should i assign

thx again

I like this format:
/boot 100mb ext3
n/a [double your RAM, with but no lower than 1GB] swap
/home = 1/2 remaining drive space
/ = the other half
So, for example, if you had a 80GB hard drive & 1GB RAM, then it'd be:
/boot 100mb ext3
swap 2gb
/home 39gb ext3
/ 39gb ext3
