Unhappy Hard Drive problems...

I have been trying to install FC3 on my computer for who knows how long and have been having problems. I finally succeeded at installing FC3, but when I try to boot it gives me an error message. It says: "Boot disk invalid. please insert boot disk in floppy drive A."
I did not assign my floppy drive as the default boot option, and I have sellected the proper hard drive. I am begging to get frustrated. I anyone has any tips, please respond before I throw my computer's motherboard at the wall.

I have a pc here that I had to go into CMOS setup and tell it that I was loading a non-windows OS. I had all sorts of problems before I figured that out.

another possiability is that its not finding the bootloader on the hard drive and then resorting to the floppy drive

installing grub to the MBR could be a possible bootable choice too.
