Unofficial Fedora FAQ

Hi - re: FC3 and the new YUM - if we're meant to be setting up the repo's in separate files now etc, why does the "unofficial fedora faq" just effectively say download this new "yum.conf", replace the default one then carry on with "yum list available" etc etc.....

Perhaps that's why it's 'Unofficial' In any case, we now have a couple of ways to modify Yum's repos, either by modifying the yum.conf or the yumrepos.d - your choice. Personally, I like Mit's solution - the Yum extender - http://fedoraforum.org/forum/showthr...t=yum+extender
Heck, let Mit do the work for me instead!
