Question DELL Vostro 3550

Hi, i have a Fedora 16 installed on vostro and the FN+F3 ( disable touchpad ), its not working, when i push it i saw the picture in screen tell abount touch pad is disabled, but the light of touchpad not change. Every function of FN(sound, playmusic, video, etc) works, but only the touchpad is not disabled. Someone has a answer for this ?
