kmod-fglrx and kms

Hi there.
Is anybody there who knows if the ati proprietary driver (kmod-fglrx) supports kernel-mode-setting?
So far i've been able to see the glories of plymouth only with the vga=0x356 kernel· command line option.
In this way glitches and bumps are still there between the two phase of the start-up.

Thank you

(btw. The fedora version is 10 and the architecture of the machine is x86_64)

Same question here, Fedora 10 x64 [] with fglrx. How is the kernel modesetting with fglrx today?
