Use updatedb. When that finishes do a search for the program you're looking for. Example:
    Code:
    sudo updatedb
    locate camfrog
Run the program by typing the full path, for example, if it's found in /usr/bin then type /usr/bin/camfrog

Have you looked at the documentation? I'm thinking that maybe there's some configuration that hasn't been done. Is this an application that you interactively use for your camera or is it one that runs as a service? The command /usr/bin/camfrogserver looks to be the correct choice to run this program.

Before you start Camfrog Server for the first time you must agree to the Camfrog Terms Of Service (TOS) and EULA at /etc/camfrogserver.d/CamfrogTOS.txt.
The TOS may be updated. Please visit http://www.camfrog.com/terms.phtml for the most current TOS.
If you disagree with the Camfrog EULA or Terms of Service do not start Camfrog Server and uninstall it immediately.

    ***

To register a new Camfrog chat room use the command "/usr/bin/camfrogserver -r/etc/camfrogserver.d/camfrogserver-register.conf".
To create a custom config for a chat room see /etc/camfrogserver.d/camfrogserver.conf.sample as an example.
The default config file is located in /etc/camfrogserver.d/camfrogserver.conf.

For the /etc/rc.d/init.d/camfrogserver startup script configuration settings please check /etc/sysconfig/camfrogserver.
Use the "/etc/rc.d/init.d/camfrogserver start" command to start server.
    Code:
    [glenn@coolhand Download]$ sudo /etc/rc.d/init.d/camfrogserver start
    Starting up camfrogserver server: [FAILED]
Although it says the service failed to start it is shown as enabled and running in my system services.

No idea. Maybe the same way you did it in Windows? Same username. Same password.

No worries. Your not bothering me. I'm the one who jumped in here to help. I just get the feeling that you're not taking the time to research any of this. Meanwhile, I've been to the website several times and have downloaded and installed the server software so that I could better help you, etc. What we've installed here appears to be server software so one can host a chat room. On the CamFrog website there is mention of chat software that you need if you "just want to chat". That's probably what you need to install.

Download Camfrog Video Chat Room Server for Linux

This server allows you to host your own video chat room, not videochat.
If you want to video chat only download Camfrog Video Chat.
That said, are you looking to join a chat or are you planning on hosting a chat room?

Then you need to install the chat client, not the server. CamFrog Video Chat.
