Fedora 9: Toolbar icons are missing

I did a fresh workstation install of Fedora 9 and noticed that Evolution's toolbar icons were missing and in their place is a generic icon with a small red "x" in the middle. I figured that the issue would resolve itself after auto-updates were installed, but its been a few weeks now and the problem persists.

I haven't done anything non-standard or custom. So I am not sure why the icons are missing. Is there a workaround?
