acid rip question

So i have tried acid rip twice and every time when i go through all the steps to load the dvd and then start the transcoding, it says it has started and i let it go for about 30 minutes but the GUI says

encoding status

time remaing 0
speed 0
time encoded 0

but yet the file is in my home directory and im watching it get bigger.

has any one else had this problem? im going to let it finish or go for a few hours to see what happens. just wondering if that is a normal thing

thanx guys
