Question XFCE and misbehaving (stuck) applications

i've had a couple applications die on me (doesn't matter which) and on xfce this is a real problem, as i've so far found no way to kill them.

on gnome i had an icon in the taskbar to nuke them, is there something like this on xfce?

and when it's fullscreen it's even worse, cause i can't even go back to desktop and i have nothing else to do but reboot. any ideas? something like windows' ctrl-alt-del maybe...

ok, about the windowd apps i found a solution: crtl+alt+esc. the pirate sign thingy.

just left-click a window to nuke it, right-click to cancel.

now about the fullscreen apps i've yet to see if this works.

I don't know if it works on all apps., but on some ' esc ' will bring you back to normal view. That's assuming, of course, that you still have any control of the app. Maybe it's because i'm running Gnome in the background of XFCE - for dependencies - but ctrl-alt-backspace works to bail out to the loging screen
To get the right answer, one must first ask the right question!
