couldnt install fedora 6 core test2

i am a newbie to linux i have used fedora linux 5 for 3 months now and it worked with me too nice .
i have downloaded fedora core 6 test 2 cds and when i tried to install it
the anaconda couldnt start
it says :
probing for video cards intel graphics driver
starting xserver started successfully
1 ..... 2....... 3.........
the it give an error like
gtk warning cant start display
so what is the proplem?
is the problem inmy hardware or i can solve that ?

I would say scrap tst2 and try tst3 . . Or wait till FC6 is release in a week or so. I am waiting for the final release before touching it. I just loaded FC5 about 5 days ago.

If you have a fast connection, you can try updating from fc5 to fc6t3 with "yum --enablerepo=development update" or you can wait a little over a week for the official release. Or you can try out the pre-release ISOs that's out now.

Why not use the FC6 Test 3 release or even better would be the FC6 Pre-release version
