Trackpad issue it's driving me crazy!

Alright I need help modifying the code or something for my track pad. I use it and every time, I use the middel button it pastes, Selects all, or opens/ closes new tabs. I don't know if theirs a program for this. I looked and couldn't find it. Maybe someone can point me in the right direction? Please

The solution will depend if you're using Wayland or Xorg, the first would need libinput and the latter would need an xorg.conf synaptics change. If you check if you're running Wayland or xorg then you should be able to google fairly easily.

The documentation for libinput is here:
https://wayland.freedesktop.org/libinput/doc/latest/
It seems to be used on Wayland and Xorg.
You may find something useful here
https://wayland.freedesktop.org/libi...est/pages.html
and see Peter Hutterer's Blog, for all things libinput
http://who-t.blogspot.co.uk/

You might also get some useful information with
Code:
$ udevadm info /sys/class/input/event5

Re: Trackpad issue it's driving me crazy!

Alright little update, I got it to fix it self temperately if i go to gnome classic on login screen. It's weird because it fails every once in awhile and goes back to it's bull **** ways. It's driving me nuts. Can someone help me send some code to the developers and get this patched? I am trying to enjoy my new laptop here.

Re: Trackpad issue it's driving me crazy!

It is possible you need to configure some Gnome keys to achieve what you want.
Install dconf Editor if you have not already done so.
Code:
# dnf install dconf-editor
It could be the following key you need to set:
/org/gnome/desktop/periferals/touchpad/tap-to-click
But you could also try changing others to see what they do.

Alright I installed it now what? I don't know where to look or even fix this issue. Also could, I configure this to allow me to swipe back and forth on web pages with my trackpad. Just like apple has it setup?
