Re: Problem bluetooth fedora 26

Have you installed the drivers using the akmod-wl package from the rpmfusion repos?

Re: Problem bluetooth fedora 26

Run "akmods --force" once you have it installed.

Re: Problem bluetooth fedora 26

I am running Fedora 26 on Lenovo G505s laptop with AMD A8 processor.

Fedora does not recognise the Bluetooth hardware.

Settings section of Fedora 26 shows no Bluetooth and asks me to connect a dongle to get bluetooth.

Hey dotnet,

CHECK OUT this thread:
https://forums.fedoraforum.org/showthread.php?t=216580

The Two Commands helped me Turn On my Bluetooth on my Lenovo G505s laptop running AMD processor.

Code:
sudo chkconfig bluetooth on
sudo service bluetooth start
http://lists.usefulinc.com/pipermail...ly/000938.html

MANY THANKS to CokeDude user from that thread.

Bluetooth option inside Settings now lists nearby Bluetooth devices and I was able to connect to bluetooth speaker in just one click.

Yay.
