Cool Upgrade to Fedora26 broke gif viewing

Hello

I did the upgrade from Fedora 25 to Fedora 26, and it looks as though the codecs which allow thye viewing on gifs in Chromium and Opera 45 did not somehow come along with the upgrade. I get a lot of "Media cannot be displayed" in my browsers. Things were working perfectly in Fedora 25 but I just had to take the plunge !!
Any ideas, folks ?

I use Vivaldi and had a similar issue, and using the script in this link managed to get in browser video working.
