MS office Presentation crashes in F14 via wine

Hi,

i just installed MS office 2007 in F14. the problem is MS office Presentation is not opening, its just crashes. MS word and excel is working fine wit no problem. pls suggest me to resolve this issue

You will have to talk to the wine developers...

Fedora just bundles wine as a package for convenience.

If MS Office is working for Word and Excel, then why not just use OpenOffice Presentation for this?

I've no idea for your M$ problem, but is ms-office really necessary for your presentation? Openoffice is able to work with most of ms-office documents.

Thanks for your reply, i have open office also installed, however, when i run the Presentation, the Openoffice impress crashe's, so would like to run the PPT in MS presentation,


Any suggestions???

can't... resist...over...powered....

Power point presentations aren't done till impress crashes...


well... you might find out if the ppt file is corrupted. But that would take a Windows system to try it out on.

in wine, try setting your Windows version to XP. I had a problem with Office 2007, powerpoinit in particular if the Windows version was set to Vista or anything later.
