Nvidia driver question

So far all of the Nvidia driver tutorials and guides have said to use the livina repo. But I use freshrpms and the other ones that are compatable with it.. I have read to not mix the repos, is it ok to install the drivers from livina but still use freshrpms and whatnot?

(I myself am one of those evil Livna loyalists )

Stanton Finley, however, has a guide on the non-Livna way to do everything:

replace 7667 with 7676

No problems and no conflicts at all in using livna Nvidia (or ATI) drivers and freshrpms for all the rest.

I actually use the NVIDIA installer... Not had any trouble with it and once it's installed it's simple to add to a new kernel.

The recomendation is to use livna's rpm but for some of us the NVIDIA installer is the best way to go: http://www.fedoraforum.org/forum/showthread.php?t=59937
