Fedora 26 USB TV Tuner

I have seen lots of threads on this but nothing really answering the fundamental question. What USB TV Tuners work with Fedora 26?
Any ideas or experience with different cards?

Thanks.

Re: Fedora 26 USB TV Tuner

Do people still use TV cards as I thought you could stream everything now?

Re: Fedora 26 USB TV Tuner

Depends what type of tuner you're after - terrestrial, cable or satellite?

The best indication would be by browsing the firmware that's included as part of the OpenElec project: https://github.com/OpenELEC/dvb-firm...aster/firmware . If the firmware's there you almost certainly can get it working in Fedora.

I've used the PCTV Systems DVB-T2 292e tuner in the past with Fedora.

There are still lots of channels on free over-the-air TV that don't stream over the interwebs, especially the independent stations. That's why I still use a TV tuner card in Linux (PCI, not USB). That's how I watch re-runs of The A-Team.
