[root@localhost Netgear]# ndiswrapper -l
bcmwlhigh5 : invalid driver!
[root@localhost Netgear]# ndiswrapper -l
bcmwlhigh5 : invalid driver!
[root@localhost Netgear]# ndiswrapper -ma
module configuration information is stored in /etc/modprobe.d/ndiswrapper.conf
[root@localhost Netgear]# ndiswrapper -l
bcmwlhigh5 : invalid driver!
[root@localhost Netgear]# modprobe ndiswrapper
modprobe: FATAL: Module ndiswrapper not found in directory /lib/modules/4.8.6-300.fc25.x86_64

Re: F25 - Netgear wna3100 - Broadcom USB device problems

Welcome to the forum, I've split your post to a new thread as Fedora has changed a lot since 2012. Broadcom wireless USB adaptors are notoriously tricky to get working in any Linux operating system. There are patched firmware modules available from the 3rd party rpmfusion repository though.

try these instructions but substitute the term yum with dnf. there are no guarantees it will work of course but it is worth a try anyhow.
