Well, if it turns out to be true, I probably wouldn't buy any of their products from now on, but then again the only Logitech device I have is an old USB gamepad that was given to me and I'm not about to throw it out. That'd be wasteful.

I did too actually. They made a pretty good trackball which is what I used before. Now I have a fancy wireless keyboard and Air Mouse

No doubt! That was my first thought: "Now where am I gonna get my keyboard/mice?"...

Typical MS strategy if you ask me. They are scared of Linux and know they can never beat us head on so instead they will buy all the hardware manufacturers and make all hardware Windows compliant only! We will have no choice. It is a conspiracy, I'm telling y'all! They are out to get us.

OK, who wants to go in on a wireless keyboard/mouse manufacturing partnership with me?

I still have a logitech trackball - 10 years old now and still going strong.

I agree with JN4 - it is a conspiracy, but Steve Ballmer announced as much anyway - that they plan on buying 20 companies a year for the next five years. They're so big they can just buy the opposition out in order to achieve total control.

IMHO, this market is failing. Innovation is being stifled by a monopoly.

i don't think the EU would allow it, there has to be fair competition an with or if MS were to buy Logitech there wouldn't be much competition
