I've had Fedora since it's 4th version (Fedora Core 4) and I've been running it without re-installing at all since version 17, just upgrading from console. I've always have had Nvidia GPU not for a particular reason; but the last one I had, stopped working(it was too old). So I decided to use the Intel integrated graphic card. What happened was that once the kernel updated a couple of times, eventually I got a black screen. Then I booted on level 3 and removed all nvidia drivers. At this point I had software that needed to be removed because of dependency on these drivers; more specific: VLC, Kodi, KDEnlive and ffmpeg. So I did, thinking about installing them back once I had working video drivers. After reboot everything looked just fine. The problem is now to install any of the software I removed. It is asking for nvidia-driver-cuda-libs as dependency. I searched for CUDA and it is supposed to work only with Nvidia GPUs. At this point I'm confused. Should I install it or not? Those softwares are not intended to work only with Nvidia GPUs; why is it asking for these dependency?
