Has anyone seriously considered that it might be turtles all the way down?
That's very old fashioned thinking.
The current model is that it's holographic nested virtualities of turtles, all the way down.

Now that is very interesting..

Even more interesting was their choice to also include a computer virus. Why??

Probably just an attempt at humour.

This sort of technology could have some interesting consequences in the intelligence community - imagine trying to prevent the transfer of information in this form.

It might also be very useful for deep space or other high radiation environments since it would be possible to have lots of backups and extreme error correcting codes.
