Can anyone tell me where my software sources listing went? I looked under System>preferences and System>Admin but I don't see the icon to allow me to look at them. I'm using f12

It is under System→Administration by default. The program you’re wanting to run is gpk-repo. You can run that in a terminal window with the command:
gpk-repo &
If you right-click your Main Menu applet and Select "Edit Menus", you can re-add that program.
