I checked the opensuse repo, but I don't see mesa9 packages there. These are a must for those games I think.
Fortunately, I have the spot stuff in my local repo.
Don't know the reason, probably as with Arch, where they also were dealing with legality of binary Steam package being converted to Arch, or Fedora in our case.

I got it working on my 64 bit. Check out this guide . It is very helpful.
My setup:

Intel DP35DP MB; Nvidia 440 2 gig Video Card; 8 gigs of ram; Intel Core 2 Quad 2.83 gig; Hp Officejet Pro L7580; LVM F23 64bit using 2 320g HDs and dual monitors.
