Unhappy Evolution stalling when spell checking

Hi Folks,

On my PCs running FC25 and Evolution 3.22.6 I have a nagging problem. I have the standard English language and added German (de) to that. Much too often when I click on a squiggled line to correct the spelling Evolution becomes unusable for about a minute. Then instead of showing the possible spelling corrections it shows a standard context menu with cut and paste and such. Is anyone else experiencing this?

Soon I will write my mails in Libre Office and paste them into Evolution.

Namaste,
Kevin Tough
