New package suggestion (Nextcloud)

I didn't know where to request this, so I hope this reaches the right people and I posted this in the right spot!

Has packaging Nextcloud in Fedora been considered? The server software as well as the client synchronization software. Particularly the sync client. I can use the ownCloud one just fine but it would be amazing to see the Nextcloud one in the repositories too

EDIT: specify Nextcloud in title

Actually, I believe that Bugzilla would be the right place to make such a request.

Re: New package suggestion (Nextcloud)

You can get nextcloud packaged for Fedora in one of the copr repos.

https://copr.fedorainfracloud.org/co...rra/nextcloud/

Just grab the repo file for the Fedora version you are using, then install

Edit:

I just noticed you wanted the server side also. I don't believe it's in that repo. I think it's just the client.

Re: New package suggestion (Nextcloud)

Thank you DBelton! I mainly want client sync right now because I have my Pi running Raspbian with Nextcloud, and in this case, I love grabbing the software from source and not a repo. When I get some better hardware I want to run NC on Fedora, but until then, the Pi is doing its job!

How trustworthy are Fedora Copr repos?
