xbox 360 wireless controller with USB receiver
First time using xbox 360 controller (wireless) with a USB receiver. The receiver is a genuine Microsoft one. I'm able to get it to work and have tested it out already with jstest /dev/input/js0 and it shows as:
[958713.357509] usb 3-8: USB disconnect, device number 14
[958716.355345] usb 3-8: new full-speed USB device number 15 using xhci_hcd
[958716.528098] usb 3-8: New USB device found, idVendor=045e, idProduct=0719
[958716.528101] usb 3-8: New USB device strings: Mfr=1, Product=2, SerialNumber=3
[958716.528103] usb 3-8: Product: Xbox 360 Wireless Receiver for Windows
[958716.528105] usb 3-8: Manufacturer: ©Microsoft
[958716.528107] usb 3-8: SerialNumber: E16054A0
[959017.185415] input: Microsoft X-Box 360 pad as /devices/virtual/input/input17
Used it in fceux and worked just fine once I setup the buttons.
However, unlike on Windows, the lights around the "guide button" don't settle on a single quadrant. I actually thought at first it wasn't connecting and had to go dig out my rarely used Windows machine to test it out on Windows. The 4 lights around the "guide button" just alternate blinking on and off. Even though the controller appears to work, I would like to know if there's a way to make it work like it normally does with Windows or an actual Xbox.
