Total noob to Fedora, just moving over to 25 from Ubuntu 16.10. Installed it on an IdeaPad Z400 and have everything working great except one minor but slightly annoying thing.
My internal wifi card is garbage, so I use a better USB wifi dongle, specifically a TP-Link T4U, using a rtl8812au driver that I found here: https://github.com/abperiasamy/rtl8812AU_8821AU_linux/
When booting or waking from suspend, the dongle is recognized, but it can't see any available networks. It just searches for ever or will not display any available networks.
If I force it to connect by entering a visible network's info into the hidden network fields in Network Manager, it works just fine and all the available wifi networks suddenly appear. And it will continue working until I either turn wifi off, close the laptop or reboot.
Like I said, minor issue. But I'd like to fix. This dongle did not have a similar problem on 16.10 or 14.04 with the same driver. And the internal card can see networks just fine when it isn't blacklisted (though it is a terrible card, so i never use it.)
Any help would be great. Thanks.
