synergy - server locks up regularly

Hello guys,

After the update to FC23 on all my comps. I found that "synergy" has become a bit unstable, well, predictably

After a while, the server locks up tight, won't let my mouse exit the screen, the DEBUG2 log comes up with the following: "can't read property 579 on window 0x....."
It's always property 579, and it always shows the same message.

I don't know as of yet what causes it, however I can safely say that every 30 minutes or so, I have to restart the server side (CTRL-C does not work, I have to kill -9 it).

This is the setup:
1. Local network, both machines on 192.168.0.n/24 network
2. Both machines on lxdm
3. Both machines on Xfce
4. Both machines without Clipboard or Xclipboard
5. Both machines without Screensavers

on the server box I run:
synergys --debug DEBUG2 -f -n nova

on the client box I run:
synergyc -f -n whitebox nova

Both machines in /etc/hosts , and in /etc/synergy.conf which looks like this:
[root@whitebox ~]# cat /etc/synergy.conf
section: screens

section: aliases

section: links
up = whitebox
down = nova

section: options
screenSaverSync = false
keystroke(f12) = lockCursorToScreen(toggle)
(and I am not pressing F12 lol)

would appreciate any help in identifying "property 579" in X/Windows / Xorg
