[SOLVED] Fedora on eMMC?

Good evening everyone! I bought today Lenovo IdeaPad 110S-11IBR netbook with preinstalled Windows 10 on eMMC.
Of course, Windows was gone immediately. I have solved the initial problem with booting Live Fedora from flash disc using Legacy, but now I can't boot the freshly installed Fedora from eMMC. I tried to change GPT to MBR, which helped me several times, but no change. On the internet, I saw that eMMC isn't recognized by Fedora, it's true? I hope not.
Would you please advise me how to run Fedora on the eMMC disk?

Re: Fedora on eMMC?

antikythera, thanks for your tip! I have not heard of it yet, so I have to read about it a lot. I'm a total beginner for the EFI/UEFI, but I will try my best
Is it a common solution/confirmed, it will help in the case of eMMC discs?

Re: Fedora on eMMC?

no idea if it will actually work but it simplifies the boot selection process massively because it searches for installed operating systems and builds a new graphical menu of its own. so if it does, there is a chance it will boot the eMMC install.

Re: Fedora on eMMC?

As I read there, this is a similar package as the os-prober in Arch Linux. Theoretically it would help if there is a problem in this. But if UEFI somehow blocks entry, then it'll not help I think.

Beyond that, the problem has been solved!
- I changed MBR table on eMMC back to GPT.
- I used Rufus to burn 64bit ISO to flash drive with GPT table for UEFI settings. (I had 32bit before (too late I searched for the architecture of my new small netbook))
- I set BIOS settings to pure UEFI... with Secure Boot ENABLED.
- During the installation, an EFI boot partition was created along with a common boot partition.
Bingo!

I have tried many installations and I don't know exactly where the error was. Maybe in Secure Boot enabling and maybe in architecture. Thank you Antikythera for your willingness to help
