[EXIT} Doh! should read angry...firefox

Since installing F24 alpha I have experienced a couple of firefox crashes. I can live with that. Now whenever I access my ebay account, firefox goes down. 6 or 7 times in the last 10 minutes. I get a popup which advises that the error has been reported however, should I be reporting this to mozilla...redhat? Any particular information which could be passed?

Okey dokey. Done.

My thoughts? Shotgun approach. File the bug in both places.

Re: Angry...firefox

You can also try the Firefox download from Mozilla. Just extract it to a folder and run it. If there are no crashes something is wrong with your hardware and the Fedora build of Firefox.
Try out mock for building rpms.

Re: Angry...firefox

Thanks all. I was "with alcohol" when I posted so the message may not be as clear as I would have liked.

As it happens the repos produced a new ff on Friday night - same problem. I downloaded the latest version from Mozilla and all good. I therefore reported to redhat along with a journalctl log. And as I re-read all this I had best tag on lspci just in case.

So for the purposes of my original post this one is solved.

Re: Angry...firefox

What bug # does your crash report link to? What bug # did you file?

Fedora's Firefox is built with GTK+ 3, while upstream's is still (I think) GTK+ 2. This is likely the significant difference.
