Question Fedora 12 using openldap and server capabilities

ok i am running fedora 12 on one of my 4 computers and i want to make one of them a server capable of manipulating the other 3 computers using openldap. if anyone can help me that would be wonderful. This is confusing for me because i had to throw out all of my windows and microsoft knowledge just to scrape the surface of fedora. Again thanks for your help.
