Remove gnome addons via command line.

Hi,

I had a perfectly operating machine before i added some extensions. Now i cannot boot into graphics mode. My video is NVIDIA which worked fine until i added a few extensions.

Like:

CPU freq
caffeine
NVIDIA board temp.
and so on

What i am looking for is a way to delete each of the 15 or so add on's until I locate the problem item. I don't know what directory they are in or where the list exist so i can work it out from there.

Thanks for your help!

Perhaps try removing the applications from startup ~/.config/autostart/ until you find the one causing you problems.

I would take a backup first

Re: Remove gnome addons via command line.

Hi, Thanks for the reply!

I found a file, not sure which one, and renamed it long enough to solve the problem. I think also there was an update that addressed it too. Either way I am happily running FC-26 without much if any problems. If there were no problems, i would probably switch to something else.

Thanks again!
George....
