), installed with dkms. I had little problems with the kmods building the module so decided to give the propietary driver a try and worked better for me.
In the very few
occasions that dkms fails, you can log Ctrl+Alt+F2, login in text mode as root, cd to the dir where you have downloaded the driver, reinstall and reboot.
Consider that you will have to take care of install the new driver when it is released. If you use the rpm method that is not necessary.
