Java repo???

Hi All,

Is there an Oracle Java repo out there somewhere, such that "dnf" sees it?

http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/ja...s-2133155.html

Many thanks,
-T

Re: Java repo???

Not that I've ever found, Oracle doesn't seem to be very RedHat/ Fedora friendly, they have their own Linux called "Unbreakable Linux".

Their JDK is at

http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/ja...s-2133151.html

I found this page
http://public-yum.oracle.com/

but I can't seem to make any sense of it as far as getting Oracle Java from it, all the JDKs I see in there is OpenJDK
which we can get from the Fedora repos anyway.

Re: Java repo???

no unfortunately there isn't for either jre or jdk. you have to manually obtain all updates from java.com or the main oracle site you linked to.
