This bug is listed here too -

A fix is scheduled for version 4.12 - Now it is all about waiting....

the v4.12 kernel predictions: merge window closes on Sunday, 2017-05-21 and release on Sunday, 2017-07-09

I am using Fedora 25 with Gnome on Wayland.
I don't have a Xorg.log, so that won't really help :-)

It happen 6 days ago.
Queued for 4.12... So 4.11 is also suffering from this, so we're basically screwed for a bit, unless someone backports it. Or something.

I don't believe we would be getting the update soon, yes you are right, we are screwed for a bit..until July ...

Faster would be if we recompile the kernel ourself ...
