Glchess glitch

Hi, I'm having this problem with glchess in GNOME. When you close the window(Or use xkill for that matter) after you make a few moves, it causes a glitch or something and logs me out. I suspect that the problem occurs because it's a KDE application. I decided to open it in terminal in hopes of seeing some kind of error output, but I haven't observed this error while running from there. While this could be used as a temporary fix, I suppose, it's still gonna bug the crap out of me not knowing how to debug this... Any suggestions? Also I believe that this happened to me in another game as well... However, I do not recall which game it was at the moment.

Thanks in advanced!

1. generally running KDE applications in Gnome or vice versa shouldn't be a problem.

2. since you're logged out of gnome, maybe there's something in /var/log/messages?

Thanks. I'll check into that tomorrow. Didn't find anything in the log files, but I could have missed something. Thanks for the help everyone!
