How do I make the "Reclaim Space" window work?

I've been a LAMP developer for 20 years and I have no idea what it wants me to do to make the "Reclaim Space" button active!

The drive is 750gb. During install I want it to go ahead and erase everything. Attached is the window I get to. What am I doing wrong? How do get it to go? Image:

I'm using the latest full release (not beta).

Are we right to presume that you are attempting an installation and are using anaconda? Anaconda has an option shrink a partition so that you can install Fedora on that freed up space.

I usually do the shrink of the partition before running the Fedora installation. That partition to be "shrunk" can be done with gparted or via command mode?

How do I find out what installer I'm using?

And it's not a problem of attempting to repartition, it's a problem of not even letting me try. The reclaim button stays gray no matter what I do. (as in the pic).

So you see, it's not trying and failing, it's not even letting me try.

    thanks for responding,

you are using anaconda, that's the codename for the installer in your mobile phone image. the delete button should be available for unmounted volumes, it may be worth exiting that dialogue and re-scanning the devices then trying again.

as you want to reclaim the entire drive, just go straight to custom partitioning instead with reclaim space unticked. you should be able to remove all the partitions there
