Angry Reliance Netconnection in F17

Hi i'm having a USB modem connection which for some reason never works in Fedora. I made it work in linux mint but in Fedora no luck.
My Modem is getting configured when i type WVDIALCONF but when I try to connect I get following error

Modem initialized.
wvdial: utils/wvtask.cc:409: static void WvTaskMan::_stackmaster(): Assertion `magic_number == -0x123678' failed.
Aborted (core dumped)

When I try as a non privileged user I get this error

WvDial: Internet dialer version 1.61
--> Cannot open /dev/ttyUSB0: Device or resource busy
--> Cannot open /dev/ttyUSB0: Device or resource busy

I tried setting my dns in resolv.conf
But no use can someone help me?????
