Unhappy Problem post installation of F16 on vmware Workstation 8.0.2

Hey Guys

So I have installed F16 on vmware workstation 8.0.2

1) Installed vmware tools - 8.8.2 build-590212
2) Hardware acceleration is ON
3) uname -r

Now the desktop is not working properly. I have heard / seen gnome 3 crashes etc on vmwares.. How to fix this. The desktop is just not showing icons etc and unable to do anything with it

Just need to get it up and running.. can't find a proper guide to fix the gnome / desktop stuff..

Same problem with me too. Screen is not refreshing properly.. Perhaps if there was a way to increase video memory in VMWARE..
