LiveCD and fbcon

Hi all,

i tried to install fedora 16 from livecd but the boot halted near the end (probably X cannot start).

This is because my system has a partially working nvidia 7600 (iMac 24'' core duo 2) and i am always forced to use software rendering.

On Ubuntu i can overcome the problem by using xforcevesa on the grub command line and then use fbcon driver at xorg.conf.

At the fedora livecd the xforcevesa param did not make a difference, the system still halted.

Is there any way to boot the livecd or use another installation procedure ?

Thanks in advance
