Q: enable Git color output


is there a way to enable color fonts for using Git for Version control with Fedora 15 ? thanks!

I didn't find a way to get used to this monochome output the fedora konsole provides

Take a look at "man git-config". There is a list of keys controlling colour output. Try setting "color.ui" to "auto".
