Smile Realtek ALC259 config


I got a laptop a few days ago with this realtek alc 259 sound card. I didnt really find much here about this card. Then, I found this thread in an ubuntu forum here:

In order to use the the Audio ports (mic, and headphones). I added this Line:
options snd-hda-intel model=auto position_fix=0

To the end of this file

Everything works great

I hope this helps others who are haveing issues with this card.
