Users & Groups (missing users?)

The list of users that appears in the Gnome app
(System > Administration > Users & Groups)
seems to be much smaller than the actual list of users.

Does anyone happen to know the story behind this and/or if there is a way to fix it?

Are you talking about system-generated users not being visible?

Go to Edit > Preferences and uncheck "Hide system users and groups".
Marching to the beat of his own conundrum.
