Talking Rosegarden sound

Anybody know the secret to get Rosegarden providing sound.

I got Jack and Hydrogen working but not Rosegarden.

Jack is working does Rosegarden really work??

Yeah rosegarden work at home. You need to start jack before roosegarden.

You can do it with or without jack, but you need a software synth running too, I have described both methods in this thread

Jack apps don't perform so well on N270 Atom netbooks so the alsa only method described in post #8 is handy on these.
