Annoying wireless problem

I log in F13, connect to wireless internet, and for a while everything is fine.

but after a few minutes the connection drops, and the wireless network disappears,
I invoke the following
iwlist wlan0 scan
but it cannot find the network.

this happens while people around me have no problem with their connection.

Any idea anyone?
