Hi there, I think I tried everything...
I have a Toshiba 43JS9UE TV which is a projection TV with VGA input. I connect my FC3 (with ATI FireGL Mobility T2) to the TV and once I am past the Grub the screen goes black. Here is my Grub...
root (hd0,0)
kernel /vmlinuz-2.6.11-1.35_FC3 ro root=/dev/VolGroup00/LogVol00 acpi=off quiet
initrd /initrd-2.6.11-1.35_FC3.img

I tried 'nofb' which results the FC to ignore the TV (make sense...) which I think means that the FC doesn't recognize the TV (am I right?).
Another hint, anaconda installer goes black in both GUI mode and text mode tight after the first screen.
Here is my xorg.conf if this may help someone. I am desperate, I am trying to fix this for months w/o luck. PLEASE help me.

# To disable the XKEYBOARD extension, uncomment XkbDisable.
# Option "XkbDisable"
# To customise the XKB settings to suit your keyboard, modify the

# keyboard, you will probably want to use:
# Option "XkbModel" "pc102"
# If you have a US Microsoft Natural keyboard, you can use:
# Option "XkbModel" "microsoft"
#
# Then to change the language, change the Layout setting.
# For example, a german layout can be obtained with:
# Option "XkbLayout" "de"
# or:
# Option "XkbLayout" "de"
# Option "XkbVariant" "nodeadkeys"
#
# If you'd like to switch the positions of your capslock and
# control keys, use:
# Option "XkbOptions" "ctrl:swapcaps"
# Or if you just want both to be control, use:
# Option "XkbOptions" "ctrl:nocaps"
