    Fedora Core 4 released !

    It's official now, Fedora Core 4 Linux has finally been released.

    "Fedora Core 4 is now available from Red Hat and at distinguished mirror sites near you, and is also available in the torrent. Fedora Core is available for x86-64, i386, and ppc/ppc64. Please file bugs via Bugzilla, Product Fedora Core, Version 4, so that they are noticed and appropriately classified. Discuss this release on fedora-list."

    The version that has been floating around proves to be identical to the official release. Cool!

    the bittorrent file is not set yet, when it will be there? I can find only the FC4 test3

    I just upgraded from FC4T3 by installing the new fedora-release RPM and running yum update yum then yum update. I hope I didn't shoot myself in the foot doing this. I had to uncomment "baseurl" in the .repo files as the mirrors don't seem to be complete yet.

    Am I correct to assume that unless I want to have to compile it, I need to get:
    Fedora Core 4 Release binary iso images for i386
    And not the source images?

    Some of Fedora Extras and Linva have been updated to FC4. Good work there.

    tracker returns 200 peers.
    thats just crazy considering its only been out for 2 hours
    and i am still downloading at 1 KB/sec

    I'm at my maximum speed (30 KB/s), which torrent do you have? (i have the torrentspy.com torrent)
