breaking a win2000 Server partition to add Linux

I have a PC at home, running Win2000 Server. The HDD is 1 partition.. is there a way that i can break the partition into 4 partitions and install various Linux versions ie Fedora, Mandrake, Suse. I would like it to offer which i want to load into when i boot.. I am looking for something that can do this and hopefully the software is free.

One you have the partition shrunk installing is rather easy, just install to free space. Not sure what tool is best, I know the commercial Partition Magic could do it.

The Fedora installer should detect a Windows partition. Look for dual boot howtos for more details.
