error loading operating system on FC3

    Hi,

I've been trying to install FC3 on HP Proliant DL380 server and installation was successfull until the server asked to reboot for the first time. So, when it rebooted, I got the message "error loading operating system". That's it.

I've tried to reinstall it for 3 times and the problem stays the same.
I've also tried to boot it using rescue cd, and I can see that FC3 has been installed. I can chroot to the linux partition. But still the server cannot boot up.

Is there anything I missed here?

Thanks in advance for your response.

after browsing into previous threads, finally I got the answer:

    1. booting into linux rescue
    2. chroot /mnt/sysimage
    3. grub-install /dev/cciss/c0d0
    4. reboot

    done
